Find the Settings From the Inbox
- Open Home and tap the notification bell to reach the inbox.
- Open notification settings from that inbox.
- Use the master push control for all MyoErgo pushes, or adjust the individual categories.
The notification controls are accessed from the inbox rather than duplicated in Profile.
Control Each Category
MyoErgo provides preferences for messages, new followers and followed activity in addition to the master push setting. These preferences start enabled for an account, but you can turn any category off. Habit reminders are separate, optional choices configured for each habit.
Understand iPhone Permission
MyoErgo asks for the system notification permission only after the required Terms and initial welcome flow. If you decline, the app does not bypass the decision. To allow notifications later, use the notification settings for MyoErgo in the iPhone Settings app, then confirm that the relevant preferences remain enabled in MyoErgo.
If Notifications Do Not Arrive
- Confirm that iPhone notification permission is allowed for MyoErgo.
- Check the master push setting and the specific category in the MyoErgo inbox settings.
- Reconnect to the internet if turning off the master Push Notifications setting offline still needs to synchronize.
- For a habit reminder, also confirm that the reminder is enabled on that habit.
Turning off the master Push Notifications setting offline remains the preferred local state while it waits to synchronize; MyoErgo must not silently turn it back on. If a change to an individual category cannot be saved, the app rolls it back and displays an error. Signing out detaches only the current device’s notification token, while an account-level master setting that is off remains off.
Notification Privacy
Push notifications must not expose health information, challenge metrics or other sensitive content. Open MyoErgo to view the protected context after unlocking your iPhone.
MyoErgo supports iPhone on iOS 18 or later. It does not use HealthKit, and no notification setting changes that.
