How Do Habits and Check-Ins Work?

Every MyoErgo habit has a category, a fixed weekly period and one daily structure. Those choices determine what appears on Home and when a day counts as complete.

Choose Build or Quit

Build tracks a behaviour you want to establish. Quit tracks a behaviour you want to stop. You can have one open period in each category at a time; after a period ends, you may begin another one in that category.

Set the Habit Period

  1. Start the new habit on a Sunday.
  2. Choose exactly 5, 10 or 15 weeks.
  3. Review the required end date before saving.

The habit applies every day of that period. MyoErgo does not create an open-ended habit, and a period cannot exceed 15 weeks.

Choose One Daily Structure

24 Hours creates one all-day item. Use it when the daily outcome matters but a specific time does not.

Time Window uses from one to five daily windows. Each window must last at least 15 minutes, and the windows must be sorted without overlapping. Use this structure when timing is part of the commitment.

Each time window appears separately on the Home timeline. Even with several windows, they form one daily occurrence: the day is complete only after all required windows have been completed.

Record the Day Honestly

Check-ins, missed days and relapses contribute to the habit’s streak and history. The available action depends on the current day and the habit state, and supported same-day actions remain reversible. Review the habit hub when you need the detailed record rather than relying on the Home timeline alone.

Reminders and Privacy

Habit reminders are optional and configured for each habit. Turning on general notifications does not require you to use a reminder for every habit.

Your habits are private. They are not placed on your public profile and are not exposed to other members through Collab.

Choose a habit that is safe and realistic for your current health. MyoErgo is not a treatment program and does not provide medical advice. Seek qualified professional help for a health concern, dependence or behaviour that may put you at risk.
